Faye Causer
Headteacher
It gives me great pleasure to be the Headteacher of Red Kite School.
I have extensive and successful leadership experience in leading SEND and mainstream schools and I look forward to sharing these experiences with our young people.
My philosophy for education is to ensure everyone is treated and catered for as an individual, learning experiences are purposeful and progressive, and together – as a team – we create positive lasting memories in a safe and caring environment.
My interests include sports, nature, reading and board games – especially Scrabble!
I am approachable, a good listener and keen to hear your perspective on what is working well and what could be improved. If you have any ideas or suggestions, no matter how small, please feel free to speak with me or a member of the team.
Michael Davis
Assistant Headteacher – SEN and Inclusion
I qualified as an English teacher nearly 30 years ago and have been passionate about ensuring that every child has access to education ever since. I have worked in a wide range of schools and held a variety of roles – from teaching Drama to Year 3 to being a lecturer for third year students on a Creative Writing Degree. I have always enjoyed teaching and particularly relish seeing young people progress and overcome challenges.
I am excited to be sharing this journey with Red Kite. At Red Kite we endeavour to ensure that the individual needs of each child are acknowledged and met and provide bespoke curriculums for all. As SENCO it is my responsibility to ensure that every EHCP is a true reflection of the young person.
I have 5 children of my own along with 2 dogs. I am a keen baker and try and go for a run every weekend. I like to always be busy and will always find something to do! Welcome to Red Kite School, please feel free to reach out whenever you need to.
Claire Partridge
Designated Safeguarding Lead
I began my career as a teacher, working in mainstream education for 16 years. During this time, I developed a deep passion for safeguarding and supporting children and their families, which led me to retrain as a children’s social worker. This role allowed me to work closely with families during challenging times, providing vital support and guidance. I was therefore delighted to bring together my experience in both education and social care when stepping into my role as Designated Safeguarding Lead and Family Liaison Officer at Red Kite School.
Here, I am committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where every student feels valued and empowered to thrive. With a deep passion for supporting students with social, emotional, and mental health needs, I am committed to creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. At Red Kite I work closely with our dedicated team to ensure that every student receives the individualized support they need to thrive—both academically and personally. Understanding that each child’s journey is unique, I take a compassionate and holistic approach, helping students build confidence, resilience, and essential life skills. My goal is to foster a sense of belonging and empowerment, equipping our students with the tools they need to succeed in education and beyond.
I am proud to be part of a school that values inclusivity, creativity, and personal growth, and I look forward to making a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.
